French economy braces for second lockdown

French President Emmanuel Macron has announced a second national lockdown to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. Construction projects and factory activity will be allowed to continue, but restaurants and non-essential shops will close, and businesses are bracing for a difficult month.
