Ivory Coast continues to impose a ban on semi-industrial and industrial fishing in maritime waters and freshwater bodies to halt the decline in the quantity of fish. The measure, announced by the Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries, Sidi Tiémoko Touré, aims to allow the recovery of fishery resources.
